Hello and Welcome!

"There is no greater calling or humbling experience than to be elected to serve the people of St. Petersburg."

It has been a privilege serving the residents of St. Petersburg for these past four years, and I have decided to run for re-election to the St. Petersburg City Council, District 3.

I can tell you that the past three and a half years have been both a labor of love and great honor for me. In 2007, you elected me to be your voice, and to provide the kind of representation and leadership that you felt was needed. I have listened to you and feel a great deal of satisfaction knowing that although we individually differ at times, we all agree that the betterment of our entire community is what is truly important. I have NEVER voted for political reasons. When important decisions needed to be made, I researched the situation as well as forming an opinion based on your input. I am very proud of that.

We have some pressing issues coming before the City Council, and I feel that I need to continue to be your voice. Our future, and more importantly the future of our children and grandchildren, will be impacted by recommendations city leadership make in regards to continued development of the waterfront, the future of Baywalk and the Pier, as well as the role of major league baseball in our community. The responsibility for these decisions that will require vision, dedication, and leadership. I feel that I am best suited to provide these ingredients for all of our citizens. I am very accessible and encourage you to contact me and express your feelings at any time. I want to be your voice and to serve you.
