Born February 27, 1944 in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Moved to St. Petersburg 51 years
ago and into District 3, 48 years ago. Parents Bob and Gladys Dudley are both deceased.
Two children, Jennifer and Bill, Jr. by Patricia, who is deceased. Married to Michelle for
15 years. Member of Northeast Presbyterian Church. Bill and his family have
lived in Snell Isle for 38 years.
Education
- High School: Graduated from Northeast High School in St. Petersburg in 1963.
(Played football and was Captain of the Swim Team.)
- College: Graduated from St. Petersburg Jr. College with an A.A. degree.
- Received a Bachelor of Arts degree in
Education from University of South Florida in 1968.
- Received a Master of Science degree in Administration
and Supervision from Stetson University.
Employment
- 2006: Retired after 38 years as a public school teacher
- 1971-2006: Northeast High School, St. Petersburg, Florida<
Primary teaching duty is Driver Education, but also taught Physical Education,
Personal Fitness, American Government, and Earth Science. Football Coach for
12 years, Head Coach of Cross Country for 21years, and Head Wrestling Coach for 30 years.
- 1969-1971: Meadowlawn Jr. High School, St. Petersburg, Florida
Teaching responsibilities: Physical Education. Basketball coach.
- 1968-1969: Mims Elementary School, Mims, Florida
Teaching responsibilities: Physical Education for both regular and special education students.
